Tim Hill and the Blues Prescription play the electric blues of Texas, Chicago and the West Coast, ranging from 1950’s blues classics, such as 'Hoochie Coochie Man' and 'Stormy Monday', to 70’s/80’s rhythm & blues material from The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Kim Wilson.
The band’s lead singer & harp-player, Tim Hill (ex ‘The Enforcers’) is one of London’s foremost blues harmonica artists, with a unique style & tone. Tim’s classy vocals and wailing harmonica are punctuated by the classic blues guitar licks of Dave 'Guitar' Piggott, who often ends a set by playing his guitar behind his head. Holding it all together at the back on drums & bass are the veteran ‘Two-Petes’ rhythm section of drummer Pete Abernethy and bassist Pete Feldon. This band are not to be missed if you are a lover of toe-tapping jumping blues at its best.

Uptown Swing
Expect a fun night of footloose and fancy-free dancing to music with a mischievous edge and a sense of humour: Swing that really swings, innuendo-riddled Rhythm & Blues, wild & crazy Ragtime, and a whole load of rare vintage songs about misdemeanour, unlawful behaviour, and flagrant imbibement in drink and cheesecake.
